Added in 2010, Abbey’s Lounge is a panoramic upstairs room with 3 sets of double patio doors stepping out onto a large covered balcony, giving full views down the first hole and over the finishing 18th green.
Societies love being able to come up here with a drink when they finish and watch the following groups putting out.
Comfortable leather furniture and oak tables are of course provided, and there are dining tables up here as well should you wish to have lunch up here rather than in the restaurant.
At the end of the Lounge is the Captain’s Corner, a small room with a bookcase ideal for a quiet read, a meeting or just a quiet chat.
The bar is conveniently just at the bottom of the staircase which enters the middle of the lounge.
There is a large south facing terrace to the rear of the Lounge, with a ramp to the top car park providing disabled access and, just in case, an emergency exit.
